Open-Air Preaching: The Audience

Typically, 30 to 150 students will gather around to listen and ask questions for several hours during that day. This exchange of ideas, preaching, "off-the-cuff" questions and answers, will go on for as long as we stay on campus. Open-air preaching provides a platform to truly "preach the word; be instant in season, out of season."  (2 Tim. 4:2)  We must be ready to preach at all times with answers to unexpected questions.

The crowd we evangelize consists mainly of the unchurched but also some are professing Christians living in a lifestyle of sin. Not only are they not ready to face Jesus should they die at that moment, but these are our nation's future teachers, doctors, lawyers, governors, senators, and leaders...!
